Launch of the Amantys Power DriveTM
The Amantys Power Drive is an advanced, high isolation gate drive for applications as varied as HVDC, industrial and locomotive motor drives, and wind turbine inverters.
This single channel gate drive incorporates a number of system enghancements to deliver a compact solution designed for longer life reliability and improved performance.
Current products in the market are custom engineered for each application, whereas the Amantys Power Drive works with a range of different IGBTs from several manufacturers, including Dynex, Infineon, Mistubishi and Toshiba.
Amantys Power Drive samples can be ordered now, with production beginning in the second quarter of 2012. The company will announce new products in the family early in 2012.
